Outline planning permission (Ref: 06/0796/OUT) was granted for up to 215,000sqm of clinical research and treatment, biomedical and biotech research and development, higher education or sui-generis use related to medical research institute approved in October 2009. This consent expired in 2021.
Children’s Hospital
Reserved matters approval for a new Cambridge Children’s Hospital was approved in March 2022 (Ref: 21/04336/REM).
Cancer Research Hospital
Full planning permission was granted for a new Cancer Research Hospital in August 2024 (Ref: 23/00240/FUL).
