The Trees and Development Sites Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) gives guidance to applicants and agents preparing development proposals that may affect trees, including protected trees and trees that are unprotected but of significance. It also guides owners of protected trees on the application process and criteria used to assess those applications.
Adoption of the Trees and Development Sites SPD
The Trees and Development Sites SPD was adopted by South Cambridgeshire District Council in January 2009.
Public consultation on the draft SPD took place from 6 June to 18 July 2008.
