The Sustainable Design and Construction Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) provides technical guidance on the implementation of policies relating to sustainable design and construction, and sets out the information that should be submitted with planning applications to demonstrate how schemes meet these requirements.
Adoption of the Sustainable Design and Construction SPD
We adopted The Greater Cambridge Sustainable Design and Construction SPD was adopted by Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council in January 2020.
Public consultation on the draft SPD took place from 15 July to 23 September 2019.
